Jill Marcotte, Partner and Chief Supply Chain Officer

Jill Marcotte was named Partner, Chief Supply Chain Officer for Dealer Tire LLC in January of 2001. As one of the company’s eight partners, it is Jill’s responsibility to collaborate to determine overall company strategy and oversee the tactical execution related to people, process and technology. Since joining the company, Jill has not only directed the growth of the Supply Chain function from its original three distribution centers to its current network of twenty in the U.S. and six in Canada, but has also created and implemented a supply chain vision to support the business expansion of Dealer Tire to over twenty times it’s original size. Jill was instrumental in expanding the scope of the Supply Chain to encompass four divisions: Logistics, Inventory Management, Supplier Relations and Supply Chain Solutions. The recent restructuring was performed to establish a foundation for the future growth and success of Dealer Tire.
Prior to Dealer Tire, Jill served as Vice President Purchasing and Logistics, and Corporate Director of Procurement at Brach’s Confections, Inc. where she led the restructuring of their supply chain including the implementation of an ERP system. Previously, while Vice President of Materials Management and Director of Materials Management at Andes Candies, Inc., Jill partnered with other senior executives to successfully drive significant revenue and profit growth. Jill also served in several management positions at Nestle Foods and at General Motors Corporation, in the areas of materials management, manufacturing, engineering, labor relations, and quality assurance.
Jill is a Michigan native. She has a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Kettering University (General Motors Institute) and an M.S. in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Passionate about promoting engineering as a rewarding career to young women, Jill was the keynote speaker at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.’s “Young Women in Engineering” conference in 2007. Jill has also been a keynote speaker and supported Goodyear’s “Women’s Initiatives in Leadership” which is an organization focused on professional development. Jill intends to volunteer in mentoring programs associated with area colleges, universities and professional organizations that work with talented individuals seeking a future in one of the many challenging and rewarding fields of engineering.
