Mike Uskert, Research Director, AMR Supply Chain Research

Mike Uskert is a Research Director in Gartner's AMR Supply Chain Research Group. As an analyst, he helps consumer product organizations with strategy definition, best practices and insights from leaders in these areas. He uses AMR Research methodologies, frameworks and maturity models to diagnose the current state and support the creation of a vision and road map for the initiative. Included in the road map process is identification of prioritized projects and action items.
Mr. Uskert joined Gartner in June 2010, focusing on research and advisory assistance in supply chain strategy and planning; becoming demand-driven; supply planning and inventory management; sales and operations planning; supply chain segmentation and complexity management; collaboration; metrics and scorecards; and driving supply chain excellence.
Prior to joining Gartner Research, Mr. Uskert served as a Senior Manager in the Supply Chain Technology consulting practice of Capgemini. In this role, he served as a Supply Chain expert with a specialty in Supply Chain Planning and general Supply Chain processes. Prior to joining Capgemini, Mr. Uskert served as the Vice President of Supply Chain Planning at Pinnacle Foods Corporation. His major areas of focus included Supply Chain Planning (S&OP, demand, inventory, and manufacturing planning), cash flow improvement, and corporate Supply Chain processes. Prior to joining Pinnacle Foods Corporation, he held various Supply Chain product management, consulting, and pre-sales positions in the software industry.
