The Taylor Institute is the nation’s premiere direct marketing learning and research venue. Occupying over 25,000 square feet and serving over 700 students, the Taylor Institute provides a wide variety of program and series to the University’s students and its external client base.
The Taylor Institute is where theory meets practice and where the University of Akron’s College of Business Administration’s curriculum focuses on e-marketing, direct response advertising, direct marketing management, multi-channel marketing, integrated marketing communications, direct mail applications and telemarketing services. Undergraduate and graduate degrees are offered from the University that focus on emerging marketing trends that will better prepare graduating students for the ever changing world of marketing.
The Taylor also holds direct marketing industry events, including conferences, seminars and certification programs. The Taylor Institute hosts marketers and others across diverse industries for off-site meetings, focus groups, Internet usability studies and Call Center activities.
