"The Goodyear lecture and roundtable with Walt Bettinger provided a wealth of knowledge and contextualized what I have learnt in my CBA classes. I learnt that true leadership involves personal integrity aimed at delivering sustainable results through a well-assembled and motivated team."
- Douglas Maseka

"Mr. Bettinger provided some wonderful examples and parables. I particularly enjoyed his updated story of the tortoise and the hare who accomplished more by combining their skills as a team."
- Seth Tanner

"Meeting Mr. Bettinger was definitely an inspiration and an enhancement to my MBA experience. It was fascinating to meet the top executive of a company that has not collapsed under the current economic conditions."
- Alexa Sullivan
"I was particularly appreciative of Mr. Bettinger’s candor and genuineness. His ability to connect with me, made me realize the importance of a leader’s ability to inspire and connect with others."
- Scott Garnick
"Meeting Mr. Bettinger was great and I feel all students should have the same possibilities presented to them. To be able to sit in the same room with an executive of his status lets you know that it is possible to attain his status, especially without graduating from a highly recognized institution such as Yale or Harvard. He stressed hard work and determination, along with other personal goals and values."
- Matt Wade

"Mr. Bettinger’s story was inspiring to students because it's hard for us to imagine a bright future after college when companies are talking about "restructuring" and "hiring freezes". His story proves that sticking to your business model and core competencies will keep your company on top."
- Alexa Sullivan
"At the round table event I was exposed to a positive atmosphere in which to learn from successful individuals who have worked their way up from the bottom. It helps you envision the possibilities that lay ahead once you are outside of business school."
- Matt Wade
