The Jeffrey R. Brashares Endowed Scholarship in SCM
This scholarship was created through the generosity of Mr. Jeffrey R. Brashares, president of Rail Can, Inc. Mr. Brashares, class of 1972, has long recognized the importance of higher education. This scholarship represents his commitment to the success of students at The University of Akron and is to be awarded with preference given to a student who is pursuing either a major, minor or graduate concentration in supply chain management in the College of Business Administration. If no applicants meet these requirements, preference may be deferred to general management majors with cumulative grade point averages of at least 3.25.
The Department of Management Scholarship Committee and Mr. Brashares will select the recipient.
