George W. Daverio Freshman Scholarship
Funded by the Daverio Endowment, this merit-based scholarship was established in 1994 to be awarded to an entering freshman majoring in accounting that graduated from an area high school. It can be renewed each year if the student maintains a 3.40 minimum grade point average and continues as an accounting major. Candidates may not apply for this scholarship. The School of Accountancy Scholarship Committee selects recipients from the list of incoming Accounting majors who have obtained admission to the CBA by the end of the first week of February.
