


The Frank P. and Marie Bevilacqua Scholarship in Accounting was created in December 2006. Frank P. and Marie Bevilacqua are both proud graduates of The University of Akron; Frank received a B.A. in Mathematics in 1972 and an MBA in 1974, and Marie received a B.S. in Education and an M.S. in Elementary Education, both in 1974. Frank is president of Winer and Bevilacqua, an accounting firm in Akron, Ohio. Marie taught at an elementary school in Akron and later at St. Hilary School in Fairlawn. The Bevilacquas are strong believers in education and in giving back to their university and to their community. Recipients of the Frank P. and Marie Bevilacqua Scholarship in Accounting must be enrolled in the College of Business Administration, majoring in accounting. They must maintain a grade point average of at least 3.0 and be Ohio residents with demonstrated financial need.
