This scholarship was established by a gift from Mr. And Mrs. Donald A. Dixon Jr.  Don believes his accounting education at The University has contributed to his business success and for that reason he has established an endowed scholarship for the benefit of students in the CBA accounting program. This scholarship assistance is for nontraditional students in accounting, with a special request that recipients consider providing future personal scholarship support for this same purpose. Scholarship assistance is to be awarded to an outstanding student in the George A. Daverio School of Accountancy based on academic achievement and need. Selection of the recipient will be made by the department chair, with the assistance of the Office of Student Financial Aid. The donor requests that one annual recipient is selected to receive an award of up to the full cost of tuition, books and fees. If additional funds are available, they are to be awarded in the same manner until all the award funds are expended.
