Thomas and Anita Gedelian established this scholarship in 2006 to assist students pursuing degrees in Accounting and Finance. As alumni and benefactors of the CBA, Mr. and Mrs. Gedelian are active supporters of their alma mater. Establishing a scholarship to assist students in their academic pursuits is an example of the Gedelians' belief in the importance of higher education. In selecting recipients of the Gedelians' Endowed Scholarship, preference will be given to a junior or senior majoring in Accounting or Finance. Applicants must maintain a 3.4 grade point average and demonstrate employment that assists in contributing to college expenses, as well as participation in civic or community activities or organizations. Selection will be made by the dean of the College of Business Administration with input from the department chairs of the George W. Daverio School of Accountancy and the Department of Finance.
