This endowed scholarship fund was established in 1981 by colleagues and friends of Dennis Gordon in honor of his retirement after a distinguished career spanning 35 years as a professor of accounting and 27 years as head of the School of Accountancy. Earnings from the endowed principal are used to award a scholarship to an outstanding junior majoring in accounting. Selection of the recipients is determined by merit and/or need by the Dennis Gordon Scholarship Fund Steering Committee without regard to race, creed, color, sex, or national origin.
