The Vincent P. Kopy Scholarship in Accounting
The Vincent P. Kopy Scholarship Fund was established in 2001 by former students of Vincent P. Kopy in sincere appreciation for his support and guidance, and as a tribute to the leadership and life skills he gave them. The scholarship recipient will be at the junior or senior level, enrolled in the College of Business Administration and pursuing a degree in accounting. First consideration will go to students who demonstrate strong interest and participation in student organizations, particularly Beta Alpha Psi, Accounting Association and Toastmasters. The Kopy Scholar should maintain a 3.0 grade point average, but GPA is of secondary importance to participation in student organizations. Selection of the recipient will be made by the Kopy Scholarship Committee in consultation with the director of student organizations and faculty advisers for the three student organizations.
