The Susan and Peter Misner Accounting Scholarship
Established in 2007 by the Rev. Dr. Peter and Mrs. Susan (Rausch) Misner, this scholarship honors the memory Mrs. Misner’s father, Clarence G. Rausch, who had an outstanding career as a CPA. Although Mr. Rausch’s formal education ended at the high school level, through perseverance and determination, he went on to become a CPA and eventually led what was at the time a very significant accounting firm in Akron. The Misners hope that the scholarship will propel students to successful and gratifying careers in the field of accounting. Applicants must be sophomore, junior, or senior accounting students with a history of strong academic performance.
