The Henry “Hank” Nettling Endowed Scholarship in Accounting

This scholarship was created in 2002 through contributions from friends and relatives to honor Henry "Hank" Nettling, vice president emeritus for business and finance at the University. Hank graduated from the CBA with a B.S.B.A. in Accounting in 1959. The scholarship is awarded by the School of Accountancy, in collaboration with the Office of Student Financial Aid, to a junior enrolled full time (12 or more credit hours) in the School of Accountancy who maintains a 3.0 to 3.5 grade point average. The recipient will receive half of the $1,000 award in the fall term and the remaining half in the spring term. The student must have financial need, yet not be eligible for grant assistance from state or federal need-based programs. The scholarship can be awarded through the recipient's senior year, if applicable.
