This endowed fund was established in 1979 by the GAR Foundation as a lasting tribute to the late Galen J. Roush, Akron business and community leader whose organizational genius led to the founding of Roadway Express, Inc. The Roush Scholarship Fund provides tuition assistance to deserving undergraduate finance or accounting majors. It is awarded to both incoming freshmen and current students. Incoming freshmen will be selected by the CBA Scholarship Committee from the list of students who have received direct admission to the college.
To be eligible for consideration, current students must have a grade point average of at least 3.6 and meet certain course completion requirements. Eligible students will be notified by mail.
