This endowed scholarship was established in May, 1989, by the former Advertising Club of Akron.  The American Advertising Federation Akron Chapter Endowed Scholarship in Marketing is awarded to a full-time junior or senior student who is majoring in Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) or related field. The scholarship recipient must possess an overall GPA of 2.75, or above, and an overall 3.0 GPA, or above, in their chosen major. The scholarship recipient is selected by the University Scholarship Committee. The Board of Directors of The American Advertising Federation Akron Chapter receives the name of the recipient before the selection is announced. 

A minimum $500 scholarship will be granted each year.

You must be a current student at The University of Akron to apply.

When scholarship description states “full-time student”, “junior standing”, or another criterion, this applies to the upcoming academic year (fall/spring).
