The Fern Murphy-Victor Endowed Scholarship was established in her memory by her family. Mrs. Victor, a lifetime resident of Akron, graduated from Kenmore High School and attended The University of Akron. The scholarship is awarded to a female student who is a junior or senior business major of high moral character and a grade point average of at least 3.0. The award is $500 per academic year. It is renewable, provided the recipient maintains a grade point average of at least 3.0. When applying, scholarship candidates should include a cover letter, a resume and a letter of recommendation that testifies to the candidate's high moral character
