This scholarship was established through the Perrys' desire to support and encourage students who have demonstrated the capacity and motivation to achieve significant educational and career goals in life and require financial assistance to do so. Mr. Perry earned a B.S. in Accounting at The University of Akron in 1970 and Mrs. Perry attended the University of Tennessee. Both received assistance in obtaining higher education and they recognize the importance of assisting others to do the same. Scholarship recipients must maintain at least a 2.75 grade point average. Scholarship funds shall be directed to tuition, fees and books. The CBA Scholarship Committee selects recipients, and preference is given to students from Stark County.
