This endowed scholarship was established in 2003 by loving family and friends as a lasting tribute to Jack W. Johnson. An Akron native, Jack graduated from the CBA in 1960 with a B.S.I.M. degree. The Johnson scholarship is awarded to a student majoring in human resources management, with a grade point average of at least 3.2 and who exhibits leadership within the CBA. The scholarship will be awarded for the remainder of the recipient's academic program, provided he/she maintains a grade point average of at least 3.2 and continues to pursue a human resources management as a major. The award is $1,000 per academic year.
