The Thomas J. Kelty Memorial APICS Scholarship Award
This award was originally established in 1984 by the Akron Area Chapter of APICS, The Association for Operations Management, and was renamed the Thomas J. Kelty Memorial APICS Scholarship in memory of Thomas J. Kelty, who was a strong advocate for professional education and an active supporter of the Student APICS Chapter at The University of Akron. This award is given to recognize outstanding students majoring in supply chain/operations management. Additional consideration is given to students who are members of the APICS student chapter.
