Purpose:

The purpose of the Society for IT & eBusiness (SITE) student organization at The University of Akron is to prepare students for the Information Technology career by providing opportunities for networking, hand's on out-of-classroom experiences, knowledge sharing, and an overall insight into the IT field. A variety of events are planned and implemented by SITE. These activities provide SITE members great networking opportunities. The center provides financial support to run the student organization.

Events:

We host a variety of events including on-site company visits, resume building clinics, industry professional speakers and many more!

Eligibility:

There is no requirement to join! If you are at all interested in the Information Technology or Information Systems field, SITe is a great organization to join!
