The College of Business Administration encourages all its students to consider a study abroad experience. The advantages to be gained by living in another country for a summer, a semester, or even an academic year will benefit you personally and professionally as you gain a broader perspective on today's global business environment.
We offer study abroad programs to complement any business major in more than a dozen countries.
Any UA undergraduate student, in good standing, who has been accepted for at least a semester-long study abroad program at The University of Akron or other accredited academic institution is eligible to apply for the $2,500 International College Ambassador (ICA) Scholarship. The ICA must have at least one academic year (fall and spring) of study remaining at The University of Akron after returning from overseas. View additional information about requirements and how to apply.

I decided to study abroad because I wanted to enrich my academic and personal background. I came from Europe, and after several years in the United States, I sought an opportunity to live and study in Asia. I had several friends from South Korea, and since the program was affordable, it was a perfect match.
