CBA Students on UA Men’s Soccer Team

Four CBA students are members of the No. 1 ranked UA men’s soccer team.

Midfielder, Anthony Ampaipitakwong, is a senior majoring in business administration.  According to College Soccer News, Anthony, who is from Carrollton, Texas,  “can run and gun with anyone."  Junior, Matt Daglis, is majoring in international business.  An Akron native, Matt is a defender/midfielder.  Defender, Chris Korb, is a senior marketing management major from Gates Mill, Ohio.  Thomas Schmitt is a sophomore from Berea, Ohio who plays forward and has indicated his intention to major in business.

The UA team, which kicked off its fall training schedule on August 16, will face No. 2 ranked North Carolina in Chapel Hill on Sept. 3. The CBA will be hosting a tailgate at Lee Jackson Field prior to the team’s September 17th game against California State - Northridge.
