New Summer Session Course 6100:350:002
You do not want to miss the opportunity to gain career enhancing knowledge in this Two-Day, One-Credit Hour summer course. Communication Coaching for an Effective Career will be taught on Friday, June 1 and Saturday, June 2, 2012 from 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM at the Taylor Institute - 5th floor of Polsky.
The course will be taught by Dr. Deborah Owens, Associate Professor of Marketing and the 2011 College of Business Administration Outstanding Teacher, and Mr. James Turner, Retired Vice President of a Fortune 500 Energy Company. This two-day, hands on learning seminar will help you to communicate more effectively with managers, co-workers and stakeholders.
As a College Recruiting Manager at an International Manufacturing Firm put it, "We can teach new managers about our business, but will only hire college graduates that can clearly communicate their ideas."
This course (6100:350:002) is open to all majors, but is ideal for engineering and business students, as well as others dealing with communications in a multi-disciplinary environment. Please note there are no required pre-requisites. You won't want to miss it!Tweet
