Please join us for the ideaLabs 2011 Business Concept Competition to be held on March 31, 2011 at InfoCision Stadium at the University of Akron from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

The Competition will spotlight business concepts from undergraduate students representing 10 colleges and universities throughout Northeast Ohio.

Each school’s team and the three best ideas for a new business, product, or service will share awards totaling $20,000 in cash. The contest is sponsored by the Burton D. Morgan Foundation and The University of Akron, and organized by the Entrepreneurship Education Consortium of Northeast Ohio.

This year’s competitors will present to a diverse panel of judges:

• Dorothy Baunach, President Emeritus of NorTech
• J. Martin (Marty) Erbaugh, Chairman, Board of Advisors, Kent State University and Trustee of the Burton D. Morgan Foundation
• Jeff Walters, Managing Director, CBIZ Accounting, Tax and Advisory Service
• John Myers, Executive in Residence, University of Akron Research Foundation
• Karen Spilizewski, Vice President at RiverVest Venture Partners and Vice President at BioEnterprise Corporation
• Robin Kilbride, President and CEO, Smithers-Oasis

The ideaLabs Business Plan Competition is free but online registration is requested.
