Prepare a Case Challenge as a Team, For the FPA Experience 2014
PLUS the top two students will win a trip to Orlando, Florida to attend the TD Ameritrade Conference 1/29 – 2/1/14
The Finance Department in the College of Business Administration is searching for three outstanding students to put together a case challenge and possibly compete with college students from Universities nationwide in the Fall of 2014. The three $2,000 scholarships will be awarded upon the case challenge being submitted to the judges for the FPA Experience 2014 Case Challenge.
The team will be required to work on sample cases during Spring semester 2014 with our Financial Planning Team coaches. Once the 2014 FPA official case has been released, the team will then apply to submit a case and proceed to prepare for Phase One of the competition. Once the case has been submitted, the $2,000 Scholarships will be awarded.
In order to qualify, you must be a Financial Planning or Financial Services/CFP Track major who has completed a MINIMUM of 60 credit hours (Junior and above) and have a MINIMUM 3.0 GPA.
In addition, you must have successfully completed “Principles of Finance” 6400:301 and be enrolled in or have already completed “Investments” 6400:343.
