On February 15, 2010 the CBA concourse was filled with the delicious smells of chili and gumbo as the college celebrated the 2010 CBA Spirit Day/Chili Day.
Several CBA faculty and staff contributed pots of their favorite chili and gumbo, along with chips, crackers, cheese, sour cream and cake, which were all served to grateful students from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
The students enjoyed the variety of mouth-watering chilies which included Hot & Spicy Chili, Spicy Texas Chili, Chicken and Turkey Chili, Black Bean and Pork Chili, Three Bean Vegetable Chili and many more. Many students expressed their appreciation and commented on how much they welcomed the hot meal on such a bitterly cold day.
Chili Day/Spirit Day is an annual event hosted by CBA faculty and staff.
