This scholarship is funded by an endowment established in 1979 by the GAR Foundation as a lasting tribute to the late Galen J. Roush, Akron business and community leader whose organizational genius led to the founding of Roadway Express, Inc.
The Roush Scholarship Fund provides tuition assistance to deserving undergraduate accounting or finance majors. It is awarded to both incoming freshmen and current students.
Incoming freshmen are selected by the CBA Scholarship Committee from the list of students who have received direct admission to the college.
To be eligible for consideration, current students must have a grade point average of at least 3.6 and meet certain course completion requirements. Eligible students are notified by email and invited to submit an application.
