Contacting Academic Advisers
Current students can contact academic advisers in a number of ways.
Walk-ins take approximately 5-10 minutes and are designed for quick questions regarding topics such as: adding or changing a second major or minor; standards of academic progress for financial aid; late graduation applications; course prerequisites; add/drop issues; and internship eligibility. Students are required to make an appointment to officially change the primary academic major.
Spring 2017 Walk-In Appointment Hours
For the first two weeks of classes (January 17th - January 27th), the Advising Office will only accept walk-ins - no appointment is necessary. Students can meet with an academic advisor, regardless of topic, during office hours. Students must arrive 15 minutes prior to closing.
Regularly scheduled walk-in hours will be:
Monday through Thursday
10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Spring advising appointments are available beginning Monday, January 30th. Advising appointments are 30-minutes long and recommended for students with questions about scheduling courses, discussing your academic career plan, or needing additional support. Arrive on time! If you are more than 5 minutes late, we will have to reschedule your appointment. To schedule your appointment:
