Starting fall semester 2013, the AACSB-accredited, nationally ranked College of Business Administration (CBA) is offering a program so individuals with an associate’s degree or who have had their education interrupted can obtain a Bachelor’s in Business Administration (BBA). This Degree Completion program expands the CBA’s BBA degree to adult residents as well as full-time employed students in the Wayne and Medina County areas. Participants will take courses online and via Saturday classes, which will rotate between the Wayne and Medina County University Center (MCUC) locations. Students can follow the instructor to each location for class, or participate through distance learning at their nearest campus.
Specific courses will be offered each semester to enable students to take 12 to 15 credits in each of four semesters. Students can take any remaining general education, required CBA Core, or free elective courses during summer terms. It’s important to see the adviser at your designated campus in either Medina or Wayne counties to address prerequisites, whether you have already completed a course on the schedule and what to substitute, and other information about this unique program. Contact information is below.
The schedule below is an example of the structured coursework:
Wayne County Campus: Students on the Wayne campus should contact the Student Services Center at 330-684-8900 or 1-800-221-8308, to schedule an appointment.
Medina County Campus: Students on the MCUC campus should contact Student Services and Academic Advising at (330) 721-2210 or email email@example.com.
Students participating in this degree completion program will receive priority registration each semester. Students can monitor their degree requirements through MyAkron, using the online Degree Reporting Systems (DARS).
