• She is in her eighth year at The University of Akron: Starting out in the College of Business Administration Career Center then joining the Center for Career Management.
• Prior to joining the university she worked over nine years for an agency in Youngstown, Ohio through the Job Training Partnership Act (JTPA). While there she worked in the areas of academic and career advising, career and program development, and operations.
• Her diversified experience has allowed her to be very successful in the areas of not only student’s relations, but also in employee relations and career development while at the university.
• Primary responsibilities include implementing the Career Advantage Network, providing experiential opportunities for students.
• Primary student populations include Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Computer Information Systems, Human Resource, Psychology, and Production Operations/Supply Chain Management majors at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
• At the present time organizations in professional development include Ohio Cooperative Education Association (OCEA), Cooperative Education and Internship Association (CEIA), Midwest Cooperative Education and Internship (MCEIA), and National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE).
• She has her MA in Higher Education Administration from The University of Akron. She holds a Bachelors or Arts degree in Speech Communication and a minor in Social Work from Youngstown State University.
