• Holds a Master’s degree in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The University of Akron.
• Career spans more than 30 years and includes administrative responsibilities in residence life, student development, student activities, student organizations, greek life, leadership training, student judicial affairs, and most recently, career services.
• Professional interest focused on enhancement and creation of co-curricular programs and services to promote student success.
• Created, and coordinated for nine years, the UA Oelschlager Summer Leadership Institute.
• Coordinates special projects such as Parents and Family Association, UA Make a Difference Day, and Alternative Spring Breaks.
• Member of American College Personnel Association and the National Clearinghouse on Leadership.
• Recipient of several University of Akron Student Affairs awards including Donfred H. Gardner Award, Award of Achievement, and Outstanding Student Affairs Employee.
• Inducted into the following honoraries: National Residence Hall Honorary, Omicron Delta Kappa, Golden Key National Honorary, and National Collegiate Scholars Association.
• As a Career Development Advisor, will be working with students seeking cooperative education/internships and students/alumni seeking full-time opportunities.
