Experience This stage of career development provides students with an opportunity to test the knowledge that they have gained about themselves and potential occupations. After assessing your values and interests and researching career options, it is time to learn by doing. It is time to clarify what you want and what you are interested in, as well as clarify your values and goals.
In the experience stage it is important to ask yourself if your intended career is a good fit, and if it will be challenging and rewarding.
Students can gain hands-on experience both in the workplace and here on campus, through involvement in cooperative education/internships and student organizations.
