As an alternative to our 6-day Lean Mastery course our Lean instructor, Brian Furlong has brought his classroom expertise to the web! 

Lean focuses primarily on the elimination of waste from all business processes.  Brian Furlong, will show you how Lean involves specific concepts that are intended to provide quality products, delivered on time at the lowest total cost.  The Lean process is based on value as defined by the customer and seeks to eliminate non-value added activities.  Brian Furlong has 30 years of experience in manufacturing and finance, and has successfully implemented Lean in numerous facilities in the U.S., Mexico, Europe and Asia. 

Students will gain an understanding of how Lean Enterprise can provide substantial improvements in the areas of Quality, Cost, Productivity, Speed, Cash Flow, Asset Management, Inventory, and Employee Involvement.

Earn Certified Lean Master Status by meeting the following conditions 

• Complete one of the Certified Lean Master online courses
• Complete a test and achieve a passing score of 75% or greater
• Complete a pre-agreed Lean Project (Value Stream Map or Kaizen event etc.) and submit the project for approval. Project must clearly demonstrate sufficient comprehension of the Lean Elements, Rules and Tools in both theoretical and practical terms.
• Read "The Elusive Lean Enterprise" which we will send you when you enroll.
• Submit a White Paper that demonstrates how you will apply Lean Enterprise to your company's strategic plan.
• Complete a telephone evaluation of knowledge, project and white paper.
• Complete all of the above in 4 months.
