Do you love animals? Do you have the skills and knowledge necessary to start working in an animal-care environment? Now you can prepare for an entry-level position in a small animal practical setting with this course. Discussion and lectures will include topics on preventive medicine, radiology, basic pharmacy, animal handling and restraint, and more.  Emphasis will be placed on the development of effective communication skills and team building principles.  Hands-on training options will give you some experience in veterinary assisting firsthand.  Textbooks included. No discounts apply.
