Presented by senior investigators from the U. S. Department of Labor
Every day the Wage and Hour Division conducts investigations of businesses. If wage violations are found, the employer will be asked to pay the back wages. In the case of repeat violations, the employer will also be assessed civil money penalties, liquidated damages, and/or the employer may be placed under a U.S. District Court injunction. The employer’s best defense is knowledge and compliance with the basic Wage and Hour Laws. No discounts apply. Please register by September 23, 2013 to ensure you receive a lunch.
