PRINCIPLES OF PERSONAL STYLE
Communication includes more than speech and writing. Your presentation of yourself in appearance, stance and attire speaks volumes about you before you even open your mouth to speak. It’s your “total package.” The course is designed for men and women who are returning to the job market or who want to update their image. Topics include how to develop your personal and professional style using self awareness techniques, wardrobe and accessories, how to shop more efficiently, and create professional phone and email messages.

GRAMMAR, PUNCTUATION, AND USAGE REVIEW
Are your written communications not achieving the results you desire—but you aren’t sure why? Are you frustrated because you need to frequently follow up with readers to clarify your messages? Maybe your communications are missing the mark because your writing style is hard to follow, errors are interfering with your reader’s ability to understand your message, or your sentence structure is confusing. Using a hands-on, practical approach, this course provides a quick, efficient (even fun!) review of grammar, punctuation, and usage that will help you write polished, professional business communications. You will learn how to spot errors quickly and accurately and know how to fix them. You will apply basic techniques to help you strengthen your writing style and gain confidence in your writing.
