Annette Romano

Program Assistant

Annette is a Program Assistant in the Workforce Development and Continuing Education and has been with The University of Akron for 5 years, having previously worked in business and industry in the Akron area for over 20 years. She is responsible for Continuing Education (CE) registration functions, coordination and support of numerous CE courses, including scheduling of instructors and labs, and ordering of textbooks for all CE courses. She is also responsible for The State of Ohio Vo-Ed reimbursement program and is the Coordinator for The State of Ohio Computer Enrichment Training Program through Workforce Development.

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and two teenage sons, happily following and supporting their academic and sporting interests.
