Mingzhou Qin, PhD.


Qin Mingzhou, Ph.D., is Professor and Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute The University of Akron. He also is the professor of Doctorial tutors of geography and ecology with Henan University. Dr. Qin is the Director of the Center for Environment and Health Engineering and Technology Research Leader of the Post Science Innovation Team of Geography with the universities of Henan Province.

As director, Dr. Qin has led more than 40 grants including NSFC, National Key Science technology supporting program as well as China-USA joint research and local government grants. He has published over 60 articles and 14 books, acquired three times of Ministry of Land and Resources, has received the Excellent Achievement and the Province Government Science Research Achievements.

Mingzhou Qin is a member of the CI Board, Chinese Branch of International Landscape Ecological Association (ILEA) and is the Vice Director of Resources Education Work Council, CRS


Qiaofei Zheng, MA

Associate Professor Qiaofei Zheng MA, is an associate professor in the Normal College for Chinese Language in Jinhua Polytechnic, China. She is a part-time Master's Supervisor. Zheng has been teaching Chinese as a foreign language for 12 years and has taught courses such as Comprehensive Chinese, Spoken Chinese, Chinese Characters and HSK Exam.

Zheng's research interests are in Chinese linguistics and second language acquisitions.


Xiaofei Cui, Ph.D.

Xiaofei Cui Ph.D. is an Associate Professor in the International School for Chinese Language and Culture at Henan University. Dr. Cui taught Chinese Language and Culture at National University of Modern Language in Islamabad Pakistan and in Tokyo Japan. For the past 19 years he has taught many different courses such as Modern Chinese Language, Grammar Analysis of Modern Chinese and Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language.

Dr. Cui has published more than ten articles and two books. His research interests are in applied linguistics, Chinese language and culture, and teaching Chinese as a second language.
