Plant Reading & Discussion Group
Spring 2008

Place G01, Time: Fridays 1-2PM

The Plant Reading & Discussion Group consists of faculty members and graduate/undergraduate students (see list of members below). We are interested in scientific research that falls under the traditionally defined area of “botany”, which include protists, fungi, and plants.

Our primary focus is to discuss and develop current research ideas in the area of plant sciences. We read and discuss primary literature papers, help to develop research topics and projects, and provide feedback on research projects.

We highly encourage participation of students interested in pursuing a botany tag in biology and conducting independent projects in the plant sciences (Biological Problems), but we welcome all people who are interested in research in the plant sciences.

For more information, please contact Dr. Pan (jepan2@uakron.edu).
