Through The Akros Review the Department of English provides students with the chance to publish their own works.

The Akros Review was founded in 1979 and since that time has been a literary magazine published for and by the students of The University of Akron. The Akros Review is dedicated to providing its readers with a unique look at the varying literary talents, interests and styles found within the student body. Submission Requirements:

Now accepting poetry, fiction, essays, black and white photography, sketch work, designs, and cover art. Submission Deadline: February 23, 2007

• Poems not to exceed 3 pages
• Fiction and essays not to exceed 20 pages
• Visual art must be able to be electronically scanned
