Angela Bilia teaches freshmen English Composition courses, often in learning communities. Her research interests include pedagogy of freshman rhetoric and composition, service and community-based learning, the politics of undergraduate education, working class studies, and cultural studies. She has presented several faculty development workshops on engaged learning and teaching in learning communities. In her free time she likes to knit, cook, write poetry and fiction, and ride her bike or walk in the area bike and hike trails.
