Robert Pope, Jr., teaches Fiction Writing, American and International Short Story, American Humor, James Joyce, Willa Cather, and Flannery O'Connor and Bernard Malamud. Publications: stories and essays in literary journals, prose poem chapbook (Imagine a Moment), collected stories (Private Acts), novel: Jack's Universe. Awards: National Endowment for the Arts fellowship and Ohio Arts Council Grants for Individual Artists; Pushcart Prize Selection; Outstanding Teacher of the Year (U.A. Alumni); Outstanding Evening Educator (Council for the Evening Students).
