Ms. Szabat began her career as a staff member at The University of Akron in May, 1990, in the Department of Sociology. She joined the English department in October, 2000. Carol enjoys the college atmosphere and helping others. She spends her free hours running her 15 year old daughter to cross-country, track and other school functions.
