TREC: Glaciation

Glacial geology is the study of causes and effects of Pleistocene expansion of polar ice masses with emphasis on glacial deposits and world climatic changes.

Field Equipment

  • Two 15-passenger vans
  • One four wheel drive vehicle
  • Giddings soil probe - core samples of glacial deposits up to 40 feet long
