Special Events and Features of the Program
As those who have attended recent workshops on Wednesday afternoon we will have a golf outing sponsored by the Ohio Municipal Advisory Council and hosted by Chris Scott. You should contact Chris at 1.880.969.6622 if you wish to play. Those who play golf will need to plan to attend a two-hour session on public finance scheduled for late Tuesday afternoon.
For those who do not wish to play golf the public finance session will be repeated after lunch on Wednesday. That will still leave free time after that to relax and enjoy the area. Unfortunately the Akron Aeros, the AA minor league club for the Cleveland Indians, will be out of town the week of the workshop. They will be in town the previous weekend. Call if we can help you get tickets for the Sunday afternoon game on the 15th (2pm).
One of the advantages of this set of workshops is that some of the training can be used as part of the Ohio State Treasurer’s CPIM program. Once the program is finalized (and we can transmit that information to the T Treasurer’s office) we can tell you which of the workshops meet the criteria for credit under that training program.
In addition to providing two meals and coffee breaks there will be a banquet for all participants on Thursday evening.
