| The bachelor of arts degree is a traditional, liberal-arts-based program. Graduates in this field typically work for government at the local, state, or federal level, run for office, work on campaigns or for public officials, advocate for a cause or political party, or continue their education in graduate or law school.

| Law, Courts, and Politics |
|
The Law, Courts, and Politics track is a specialized degree program for students who are interested in attending law school. Students will have a taste of American and International Politics, but spend the majority of their time in classes like Judicial Process, Law and Society, Constitutional Law, and Civil Liberties. Students also have the opportunity to really specialize their degree to include four interdisciplinary courses in other departments; these courses give students a strong foundation when entering law school and help provide some guidance into a particular area of law they may be interested in studying. Some of the most popular classes here are Legal Writing, Criminology, Argumentation, International Business Law, and Biomedical Ethics.
This program requires a minimum of 128 credit hours and a fourth semester of a foreign language. Click here to see the full degree program requirements. |
