Currently an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Ohio, assigned to the Capital Crimes Unit. Previously assigned to Special Prosecutions Section and Child and Elder Protection Section. Previously served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Montgomery and Summit counties. During law school, interned at the United States Attorney's Office in Cleveland, the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office, the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office, and was a volunteer in the third trial of Dr. Sam Sheppard.
Has tried approximately 40 jury trials and countless bench trials in Montgomery and Summit counties (Ohio) and the City and County of Philadelphia (Pennsylvania), and has served as special prosecutor in Jefferson County, Ohio. Has also consulted with and advised prosecutors offices throughout Ohio on various cases. Has briefed and argued cases to the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern District of Ohio, and the Ohio Ninth and Eleventh District Court of Appeals. Has briefed cases to the United States and Ohio Supreme Courts.
Licensed to practice law before the following courts: The United States Supreme Court, The United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, The United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, The United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and the Ohio Supreme Court.
