Faculty Profile: Amanda Barna  In addition to teaching part-time in the Political Science Department, Amanda is also co-owner and Vice President of the Center for Marketing and Opinion Research (CMOR). CMOR is a local research firm that specializes in public opinion and marketing research studies. Prior to opening CMOR, Amanda was the Data Collection Manager for the Center for Policy Studies at the University of Akron. Amanda has more than eight years of experience in quantitative and qualitative research. Amanda has been Project Manager on more than 75 research projects for diverse groups of businesses, state and local government, social service and non-profit agencies, federal agencies, and national and local foundations. Amanda holds a Master’s Degree in Urban Studies from The University of Akron ('04) as well as an undergraduate degree in sociology ('00) from The University of Akron.
