- SEE UA! camp at the University of Akron is an engaging residential experience that immerses girls into mechanical, electrical, biomedical, civil, chemical, and mechanical polymer engineering. Each day is comprised of fun-filled hands-on engineering activities led by our talented faculty, followed by dynamic tours of local engineering firms and campus-wide activities. This is a great opportunity for girls who might be interested in engineering as a career!

MULTIPLYING YOUR OPTIONS (MYO) SUMMER CAMP

- Multiplying Your Options (MYO) camp at the University of Akron is a one week summer day camp for girls that introduces them to mechanical, electrical, biomedical, civil, chemical, and mechanical polymer engineering. STEM (SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING AND MATH) WORKSHOP

- Day camp
- This program is designed to give middle school students an opportunity to explore exciting and emerging technologies in the engineering and scientific fields. Students will engage in team projects; learn and apply basic principles of physics, engineering, math, and science; and interact with college students and professors.

- This camp provides outstanding high school students an opportunity to acquire modeling and simulation experience to solve science and engineering problems. Student will learn how real companies use computational science and engineering, apply modeling and programming techniques in a hands-on environment, verify and validate design principles and test model accuracy. Previous experience with Project Lead the Way is helpful, but not required.

IGNITING STREAMS OF LEARNING
- Five 11th and 12th grade students from each of several districts
- Residential camp
- This program, held on the Hiram College campus, is designed to inspire students to pursue careers in science education through experiencing science in the Cuyahoga watershed.
