Joel Hamsher is a principal and has over 20 years of experience in the area of taxation, tax minimization strategies and compliance. He has experience providing tax advisory services to closely held companies in the manufacturing, professional service, automobile dealership, transportation and restaurant industries. Joel also leads the firm's Manufacturing and International teams. As an expert in taxation and consulting matters, Joel enjoys helping his clients achieve their business, succession, and estate planning goals.
Joel regularly shares his experiences as a guest lecturer at the University of Akron, where he has addressed both graduate and undergraduate students. Joel has also spoken before the Akron Tax Club and other organizations on various topics in taxation matters.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts, Accounting & Business Administration from Malone College and a Master of Taxation degree from The University of Akron. Joel is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is actively involved in the City of Fairlawn Board of Tax Review as well as the Greater Akron Chamber of Commerce and the Boy Scouts of America, Great Trail Council. |
